I love the look of the "Las Doce" collection from Chilean designers The Andes House, which was part of the Satellite exhibition at Milan Design Week this year. The collection uses a combination of traditional Mapuche wood carving techniques and industrial machines in order to capitalize on the strengths of each respective type of manufacturing. The result is a beautiful range of textured dishes, plates and mugs.
This range is currently only in prototype form, but hopefully it won't be long before we can get our hands on some of these beautiful pieces.
P.S. There's a new post on my other blog, givemakewrap, today!
