Happy Friday...and a tune for your weekend!

Happy Friday! This is another of my favourite green spots in our house. It's a window at the top of our stairs, which looks out onto our balcony. Lovely lights streams in from here in the morning. James is always trying to get me to cut the ivy back, but although I know it will probably be the ruin of our house, I love it (I dream of living somewhere like this!).

The succulents on the windowsill are all cuttings given to me by various people, in antique bottles and jars. My intention was to leave them in water until they grew roots, then plant them in pots or in the garden, but I ended up liking them so much in the jars they've stayed that way.

This week, for a tune for your weekend I've gone for Blame it on the Boogie by The Jacksons. I love this song not only because it's a disco classic but because it reminds me of my far away sister (probably because I remember her doing it at karaoke one time, complete with dance moves). I've got it stuck in my head today because mum and I went to see The Magnets as part of the festival last night (not my usual sort of thing but it was fun!) and they finished with this song...and yep, I was doing those moves!

Enjoy!

(just a warning, this video starts kind of suddenly, and ends just as abruptly, but it's fun to watch the Jacksons in action :))

Have a disco-tastic weekend!
