This year I'm trying to make as many presents as possible, because it saves a bit of money and because there's no better time of year to bust out all those creative projects I've been wanting to try! So I had an industrious weekend dyeing, painting and baking.
These are a few of the handmade presents I'm giving this year:
- gingerbread biscuits (I'm also turning some of these into gingerbread ice cream - yum!)
- dip-dyed pillowcases in a range of pretty hues (I just can't get enough of dip-dyeing)
- fluro yellow screenprinted pillowcases (discovering fluro fabric paint changed my life!)
- my traditional fruit mince pies
- bottles of chilli and garlic flavoured oil (not pictured)

So pretty! I love those pillow cases.
ReplyDeleteYour gingerbread recipe looks way better than mine. It tastes delicious but it's so sticky it's tedious.
Those pillowcases (both the dip dye and the fluoro stripe) look so awesome!
ReplyDeleteThank you both! This was the easiest gingerbread recipe I've ever used - it was part of a recipe for gingerbread ice cream but the gingerbread alone is delicious! It has a really nice Christmassy spice taste. Maybe I'll share it later this week!
