Hello! Eko here again...
I thought I'd share with you some photos of some Japanese versions of some classic snacks! On our recent trip there we collected (and ate!) some of the obligatory strange-flavoured Kit Kats but were delighted to see that Pringles have since joined the crazy flavour party!
In the Kit Kat collection, pictured are the pretty standard Bitter Almond Kit Kat and Green Tea Chunky Kit Kat. We have already eaten the soy sauce (probably the most popular), the Cherry Blossom and Red Wine flavoured ones. My husband and I lived there for a year and over that time we saw other stranger flavours including Camembert Cheese, Custard Pudding, Choco Banana, Fruit Parfait and Sweet Potato.
Since we were last there Pringles have brought out an American Diner range which includes Hot Dog (pictured) and Cheese Burger. They also have Extreme Pepper and Extreme Salt which is a more full on version of the Mild Salt flavour. Check out the Mild Salt commercial here.
Ah....you've gotta love Japan - crazy, tasty (sometimes) and fun!
