It seems very apt to be writing about Mr Lincoln on the Mr Sparrow blog! It's not only the 'Mr' title that they have in common but also the fact that they both sell beautiful, unique products! Mr Lincoln is in my opinion the coolest florist in Melbourne. It's on wonderful Gertrude street in Fitzroy and was introduced to me a few years ago by our friend and florist extraordinaire Hannah (who runs Perth's best florist - Hannah Etherington Flowers). Anna and I had the pleasure of choosing flowers for a bouquet for our friend Mem, who we were in Melbourne to see in Richard III. The bouquet was a combination of kale flower, hyacinth, purple berries and native foliage. It was amazing, as was Mem's performance that night! If you happen to be in Melbourne in the next couple of weeks I thoroughly recommend Richard III.
