MT Masking Tape

I was so excited to hear the news that Telegram, those brilliant stationery-lovers who brought us O-Check, are now distributing MT Masking Tape in Australia! I have been in love with this Japanese masking tape (also known as washi tape) for a while now and bought quite a few rolls from here for friends (and myself!) at Christmas. It is such a beautiful, versatile product - I use it mainly for wrapping gifts and decorating cards, but it would also be great for labeling just about anything and a whole pile of other both decorative and practical purposes. What makes washi tape so special is that it's made from rice paper, which means it's easy to tear and has a delicate, matte surface that's easy to write on and looks beautiful. It also comes in a huge range of colours and patterns. It's so beautiful that I'm sometimes afraid to use mine because it seems too special...but now that I can get my hands on it easily that won't be such a problem! And you, too, will be able to get it easily, as it will soon be on Mr Sparrow's shelves! The range is available in a couple of weeks so keep an eye out for it at my shop!

Read more about MT Masking Tape (there is a beautiful story behind how to brand came to be) and see all Telegram's other goodies here. Photos thanks to Telegram.
