Wedding photos...the venue

I thought I should hurry up and share the rest of my wedding photos before there is another wedding upon us (Eko and Rick's this Saturday!) and what I know will be an amazing collection of photos to share!

We had our ceremony and reception in the one venue, which was nice and easy and worked really well for us. The problem with doing it this way is often that there is a long wait between ceremony and reception while the bridal party have photos (which is particularly annoying if you're stuck at a remote location like ours), but we decided to have as brief a photo session as possible to avoid this...and also because I hate having my photo taken! We had our wedding at Sandalford Winery in the Swan Valley, with our ceremony on the Verdelho Lawn and our reception in the Oak Room. We looked at quite a few possible venues but as soon as we saw the Oak Room we were sold! As you can see, it's lined with oak barrels, which not only looks pretty amazing but also gives it that nice oaky smell. Also, its beautiful draped ceiling, candelabras and cane chairs meant we really didn't have to do much to make it look special.
